S.01 Four: F. Walton, Royal Navy

1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Burma Star with "Pacific" clasp" and War Medal 1939-45.

The medals, which are in very good (GVF+) condition, are in the original Director of Navy Accounts box of issue with the original Admiralty enclosure slip.

The box provides his service number (CH/X 100343) and a home address in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

S.02 Five: G.B. Hetherington, Royal Navy

1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Africa Star, War Medal 1939-45 (all four un-named as issued) and EllR (2nd type) Royal Naval Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (JX.154776 A/C.P.O. HMS Broadsword).

The Long Service & Good Conduct Medal was awarded on the 21st December 1959.

HMS Broadsword was a destroyer in service from 1948 to 1968.

The medals are board mounted for display. There are some contact marks to the WW2 medals, thus VF+. The Long Service & Good Conduct Medal is dark toned, and in better (GVF) condition.

1939-45 Star, Africa Star with "North Africa 1942-43" clasp, Italy Star and War Medal 1939-45.

The medals, which are in very good (GVF+) condition, are in the original Air Ministry box of issue with the original Air Council enclosure slip and flimsy – which confirms the entitlement.

The box provides a (1948) home address in Woodthorpe, Nottingham.
